Josephine has two master's degrees and is an educated actress and art historian. She has acted in various TV-productions, movies and plays. She was also a student in the English National Ballet School (1997–98). Josephine won the title Miss Sweden 2006 on 30 March after a hard recruitment process. The judges described her as professional, humble and sympathetic.
